Outsulation MD provides three lines of defense against water. The first is Dryvit's time-tested combination of reinforced base coat and DPR finish. The second is Dryvit's specially-designed, grooved EPS with drainage track and vent assembly. Underneath the EPS lies the substrate coated with Backstop - an air and watertight membrane. A waterproof, rubberized tape is used to protect wall openings (such as windows). A compatible sealant must be utilized at all system terminations. Outsulation MD comes with a 10-year moisture drainage and 10-year limited materials warranty.
